Delhi Charter Student Receives Scholarship


As a resident Joniah Brown received a $5,000 scholarship from the Louisiana Housing Council (LHC) in 2019.  This scholarship was achieved through the hard work on Joniah in her academics, extra-curriculars, community service, and participation in an essay assignment.

To the left is a photo of her receiving the award and below is the newspaper article published in The Madison Journal (including a photo of the principal, Joniah, Joniah's mother, Tallulah Section 8 Director Merunda Brown), as well as the initial press release information and certificate of Joniah's achievement!
